Ariadne
Ceramic, rope 45cm x 43cm 28cm 2018 In Greek mythology, Ariadne is the daughter of Minos who gives Theseus a red thread to help him find his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth. Threads are a metaphor for relationships, and navigating our complex social world can often feel like walking through a maze. This journey that we weave around others can make us feel lost or entangled. It's in our hands, how we gather these loose threads to find our way and reconnect with the world.
